Your new pedometer has been designed for your easy use and the accurate measurement of the steps you take when you walk of hike.
Explanation of symbols:
Button A is the reset button

Display should read STEP meaning your are in the step mode.
How to operate your pedometer:
To start your exercise - press the RESET button for 2 seconds. The display will show 0000. The STEP function will be reset to zero. Shut case closed. Begin exercising and the unit will keep track of your steps.

Step counter function - this feature allows you to count the steps you take during an exercise period, or all day. Your target should be 10,000 steps a day.
How to wear your pedometer:
The pedometer clips easily and snugly to the waist band, or belt, of your pants or skirt. For the best results, make sure the unit is in line with the crease of your pants.

Also, make sure the pedometer is level and not tipped.

Auto movement sensor:
The pedometer will remain in standby status until 5 continuous steps are taken. The active indicator will appear (a triangle pointing upwards) and the 5 steps are then calculated. When regular walk/run movement stops, after 2 seconds, the timer pauses and the pedometer will switch to standby status and the active indicator will disappear.
Sensitivity adjustment:
Everyone has a different walking style. The automatic Sensitivity Adjuster will compensate for the different styles.
Battery replacement:
The battery is under the front cover of your pedometer. Pop open the front cover with your finger to access the battery. Replace the battery with the proper type when the display starts to dim.
Care:
Keep the pedometer dry. It is not waterproof.
